When Something Is Better Than Nothing
I swam this morning. I only managed 2100 meters. There was 500 easy swim, 10×50 drill on a minute, 10×100 swim r. :05 and an obligatory 100 IM warm down.
Everything felt off. It was as if I wasn’t grabbing the water. I had no feel for the stroke.
Still, a day with a swim — to be able to swim — is better than a day without.
After I arrived a work and Aaron and I compared notes on the morning — he is a regular morning swimmer — I’ve decided to adopt his analysis of the situation. ‘Today I got the bad swim out of the way. Sunday will be better.’
